ROBERT ANDREWS

Robert Andrews is the Team Lead for IBM i Security and Authentication Technology Services in Rochester, MN.  He is an Executive Security Consultant / STSM and a certified Thought Leader in IBM for security.  Besides security, Robert is an expert in Db2, journaling, and DDM/DRDA.  In addition to his technical work at IBM, Robert has been strongly involved in Emergency Management and Communications for over a decade at all levels from local to federal.  Robert has published seven books and holds degrees in mathematics, computer science, education, and management.

PAULINE BRAZIL AYALA

Pauline Brazil Ayala is Vice President of Operations, Fresche Compliance and Security.

Pauline has worked in the software industry for over 20 years, specializing in IBM i and enterprise-level security. She began her career as a software engineer at PentaSafe, an AS/400 security startup, in 1999. Meeting customer needs and clearly articulating and addressing customer requirements has always been very important to her her, as well as ensuring the overall big picture of projects has been achieved.


WAYNE BOWERS

Wayne Bowers has been with IBM since 1997, where he works with the IBM i Global Support Center in Rochester MN. He is an Advisory Software Engineer specializing in the support of the IBM i Access (aka Client Access) products, Console, the TCP Telnet communications server, and the IFS.

Wayne has been developing and delivering presentations since 1999, and at COMMON and other User Groups and IBM Conferences since 2009.


THOM HAZE

Thom is the lead software developer for IBM Digital Certificate Manager for i (DCM) and provides cryptography related enhancements to IBM i. He has been working on IBM i and earlier named platforms since 1989 on various projects such as Integrated Windows, Linux, and VMware Servers, Integrated File Server, IBM i Installation, and most recently on the IBM i Security team.

Thom is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) focused on providing system availability, confidentiality, and integrity.


PETE HELGREN

Currently IT Generalist at Bible Study Fellowship International. Pete is a developer with broad experience across multiple languages and platforms, including over 27 years of system 3X/AS400/iSeries/IBM i experience. He holds certifications as a GIAC Cloud Penetration Tester, GIAC Secure Software Programmer-Java, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals. His passion has always been in system integration and currently focuses on Open Source applications and application integration.



STEVE PITCHER

Steve Pitcher is a Solutions Expert on Systems Administration and Security with iTech Solutions Group and an Industry Analyst at MC Press Online. He’s been a specialist in IBM i solutions since 2000 with an emphasis on modernization, security and collaboration products. Steve has been an IBM Champion for IBM Collaboration Solutions from 2011 to 2016, and an IBM Champion for Power Systems from 2016 to 2018.


CAROL WOODBURY

With over 25 years experience in the area of IT security, Carol is known world-wide as an expert in the area of computer security.  During her career, Carol has architected security solutions for Fortune 100 companies as well as small and medium-sized organizations.  Carol is passionate about sharing her knowledge of IBM i Security and helping clients make improvements to their IBM i Security one step (bite-sized chunk) at a time rather than overwhelming them with a huge list of risks.  Carol has been an IBM Power Champion since 2018.


Carol is an educator, architect, designer, implementer and an award-winning speaker, specializing in IBM i Security.

Carol is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), has her PCIP certification and is a member of the ISACA organization.
