Administration

Manzoor Siddiqui is the Executive Director of COMMON. He oversees all Operations for the organization, and has responsibility and oversight of all areas and Staff. He joined COMMON in 2006 as the Marketing Communications Manager, leading all marketing and sales initiatives for the organization. Manzoor has over 20 years of multi-disciplinary business, marketing and IT experience across a broad range of industries, including association, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and insurance. Also, he has served as a subject matter expert on several panels through Association Forum and LFGSM. Manzoor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from National-Louis University and an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, where his focus was on Marketing and International Business Management.

Membership and Education

Ian Cartwright is the Membership and Education Manager for COMMON and has been with the organization since 2006. He is responsible for the programming, scheduling and delivery of content for COMMON’s education products. These products include conferences, web education and virtual events. Ian manages a group of subject matter experts and the Strategic Education Team to guide the direction of education offerings. Before COMMON, Ian worked in resource allocation at an urban hospital and as a researcher for content development for a McGraw-Hill project on American migration. Ian studied history at Michigan State University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Peter Kasper is the Assistant Education Manager for COMMON. He brings over 13 years of membership-based non-profit management experience to the organization. Peter works with the Membership and Education Manager to manage all educational functions at COMMON including: programming, scheduling and delivery of content. He has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago and a master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Elmhurst College.

Conventions / Meetings

Wynn Burke brought over 20 years of experience in planning domestic and international conferences and expositions to COMMON when he joined the organization in 2011. As Conference and Expo Manager, he is responsible for overall planning and logistics for COMMON’s Annual Meeting, Fall Conference and other live events. Wynn is also responsible for all aspects of COMMON’s expositions, serving as the key contact for solution providers regarding booth and sponsorship sales. Wynn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management and Business Administration from Eastern Illinois University.

Information Technology

Fred Pritchard began his career at COMMON in 1995 and serves as the organization’s IT Manager. He manages all of COMMON’s IT functions, such as operations, networking and programming. Fred also manages event IT, including equipment logistics, network configuration, systems management and lab setup. His first IT job was an AS/400 (B60) operator starting in 1989 at World Book Financial Services. After a short period, Fred moved into a programmer/analyst role, eventually becoming the Programming Manager for the organization’s outsourced programming consulting practice. This consulting practice served numerous clients by developing, upgrading, customizing and integrating systems. Fred’s background includes a Business Programming degree from Columbus State Community College in Columbus, Ohio.

 

Accounting / Human Resources

Angela Myrick has been with COMMON since 2000 and is currently the Human Resources Manager and Sr. Accountant for the organization. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management, with a concentration in Human Resources, from DeVry University and a Masters in Accounting and Finance from the Keller Business School of Management. Prior to joining COMMON, Angela worked in Public Relations for well-known firms such as Golin / Harris Communications, MSNL Communications Group, Ruder Finn Public Relations and Fleishman-Hillard Public Relations.

Marketing

LeAnn Taylor is COMMON’s Marketing Coordinator. She helps us in our overall marketing efforts and is an integral part of the development and execution of our marketing plans. LeAnn has over 10 years of experience in social media marketing, event planning and hosting, creative directing, and business development. She has had her hands in various industries such as retail, real estate, fitness, beauty, and now technology!  LeAnn holds a B.S. in Communications from Old Dominion University and is currently working on continuing her education to help her advance in her career.

Maggie Donnelly is COMMON’s Digital Marketing Intern. She helps with graphics, social media, and marketing. She is finishing her senior year at Winthrop University with a B.A. in Digital Information Design. Her goal is to keep improving engagement and bring the community closer together.
