Jesse GorzinskiJesse Gorzinski works for the IBM i development lab in Rochester, MN. He is the Business Architect of open source technologies. Jesse, who was doing RPG programming at the age of 18, is an expert on application development on IBM i, as well as system access and modernization.

    We have PHP and RPG,SQL running on our IBMi.

    And we are looking at source control, tracking options.

    I’m a seasoned IBMI person and have used the source control ( IBMi based ) products Implementor and Turnover.

    I am very interested in finding out about using GIT for source control , alongside Rational Developer for IBMi.

    Do you have any information ? Links , Anything you can share on this?

    Any information on promotion of source/objects through the Developers LIb, DEV Environment, Test Environment and finally into production?

  2. We are using RPG and SQL on our IBMi.

    And we are looking at source control, deployment tasks.

    We currently using ARCAD Skipper for source control product.
