A CEF committee member is responsible for assisting at the CEF booth during the conference, helping to acquire silent auction items and/or other fundraising activities, and participating in the selection process of scholarship recipients.
Reports to:
COMMON Education Foundation Executive Director
Responsibilities:
A CEF committee member performs the following tasks as needed:
Help setup the CEF booth on Sunday morning, close out the silent auction on Wednesday afternoon, and tear down the booth on Thursday afternoon
Volunteer time to assist at the CEF booth when possible
Participate in conference calls (typically three times per year) in relation to the selection of scholarship recipients
Offer input in regards to fundraising ideas
Help promote the CEF initiatives
Recommended Qualifications:
Strong people and customer service skills and a willingness to help out others.
Education:
No formal or specific education is required.
Commitment:
One year minimum – this would include a conference and scholarship selection for the year.
