Dave Owen
Dave Owen is a principal architect on the iSeries Journal team in
Rochester, Minnesota. Originally an educational software developer on PCs
in the '80s, he made the jump to bigger iron in 1990, led the effort to
move Journal to RISC over ten years ago and hasn't looked back. He's known
to his teammates as Mr. Remote Journal, but don't let that fool you. He's
been a part of nearly every major Journal enhancement since 1994, and his
innovations have resulted in several patent filings (and grants). He may
be new to Common, but he's been around Journal (and Commit) for a long
time.
