Cary Bates
Cary Bates is an Senior Software Engineer in Application Development and Development Tools Technology.  He is the architect for the iSeries Debugger.
Cary joined IBM in 1988 in Rochester as an Associate Programmer working on the AS/ 400.  Cary's work experience includes GUI interface work, Compilers, and the iSeries Debugger where he developed language dependent expression in evaluators.

Cary received an MS degree from the University of Minnesota in 1992 and a BS in Math and Computer Science from Bemidji State University in 1984.  Cary currently has 139 issued US Patents.
