Blair Wyman
Blair began his IBM Rochester career in 1988 in Rochester testing OS/ 400 V1R2, and has enjoyed a wide variety of interesting and challenging assignments since. Blair's focus has been in the areas of compilers, machine language translation, intermediate program representations, and operating systems performance tooling on the System i family machines. Blair has been involved with support for Java on the System i(tm) family since it was first released on System i in OS/ 400 release V4R2, and specializes in the Java Native Interface (JNI). Blair is an enthusiastic proponent for Java and object-oriented programming, and has been providing education for IBM since 1997. Blair has a B.S. in Math from USD Vermillion, South Dakota, and an M.S. in Computer Science from SDSM&T, Rapid City, South Dakota.
