Patrick S. Botz
Pat has a varied support and development background from BASIC compilers, CAD/ CAM/ CAE, OS/ 2 WARP, to security. In addition to working on and leading OS/ 400 security architecture since 1993, Pat's experience includes 12 years of UNIX software development and support. After spending two years in the eServer development organization where he was responsible for security in Virtualization Engine R2, he has recently joined the Client Technology Center in Rochester which is a lab-based services organization. Pat is responsible for building the CTC eServer Security Architecture and Consulting practice focusing on integrating
i- and zSeries platform security into various network environments and compliance requirements. Pat also is a co-author of "Experts Guide to OS/ 400 and i5/ OS security" with Carol Woodbury.
