Dr.
Hansen
is
a
co-founder
of
Manta
Technologies
Inc.,
a
company
that
specializes
in
interactive
training
for
iSeries
operators,
programmers,
system
administrators,
and
users.
Bill
has
been
developing
multimedia
training
for
IBM
systems
since
the
early
70s.
As
the
Operating
Systems
Product
Manager
for
Deltak
and
the
President
of
Hansen
Training
Systems,
he
has
developed
over
300
courses
on
topics
ranging
from
word
processing
to
MVS
Resource
Management.
At
Manta,
he
is
responsible
for
iSeries
operations,
system
administration,
and
ebusiness
courses.
He
also
developed
Manta's
browser-based
CBT/
WBT
authoring
system
that
can
simulate
both
5250
and
GUI
screens.
Bill
holds
a
B.S.
from
the
Illinois
Institute
of
Technology,
as
well
as
a
M.S.
and
Ph.D.
from
Northwestern
University.
His
Ph.D.
thesis,
"A
Computer
Calculation
of
the
Homology
of
the
Lambda
Algebra,"
was
one
of
the
first
attempts
to
use
a
computer
to
solve
a
problem
in
algebraic
topology.
