Jim
Rostis
has
been
associated
with
the
RPG
Programming
Language
and
the
IT
industry
for
over
35
years.
He
is
currently
Director,
MIS
at
National
Forwarding
Co.,
Inc.Over
the
course
of
Jim’s
career
he
has
held
various
positions
from
computer
operator
to
programmer
to
VP
Of
Product
Development
and
was
an
adjunct
faculty
member
at
the
Collegeof
DuPage,
Glen
Ellyn,
ILfrom
1981
to
1993
where
he
held
classes
on
RPG
Programming.
When
outside
the
workplace
Jim
keeps
himself
busy
as
founder
and
President
of
Sitsor
Consulting,
a
part
time
AS400/
iSeries
consulting
firm,
also
runs
a
business,
ComputerClocks
and
Things, with
his
wife
that
recycles
old
computer
parts
into
such
items
as
clocks,
jewelry
and
more.
A
good
amount
of
his
free
time,
when
it
allows,
is
spent
with
his
grandkids…..
you
know,
over-nighters,
sports,
school
activities,
etc.
And….
If
any
other
time
is
available
Jim
works
on
his
long
time
hobby
of
restoring/
rebuilding
3-wheel,
1
passenger
cars
known
as
the
FREEWAY.
Jim
organized
the
25
year
reunion
of
FREEWAY
owners
back
in
2004
in
Burnsville,
MNand
plans
to
hold
the
30
year
reunion
in
IL
in
2009.
He
purchased
his
first
FREEWAY
new
back
in
1981.
Only
700
of
the
cars
were
produced.
Jim
has
been
a
speaker
/
volunteer
for
15+
years
at
COMMON
and
is
a
member
of
the
Speaker
Hall
Of
Fame
as
a
Bronze
metal
winner
for
tech
sessions
he
presented atpast
conferences.
