Integrated
Seminar
This
all-day
seminar
provides
a
unique
opportunity
to
explore
the
Linux
operating
system
through
both
lecture/
presentation
as
well
as
hands-on
guided
labs.
The
morning
will
start
with
a
general
overview
of
Linux
and
move
quickly
into
Linux
installation
and
basic
Linux
system
administration.
Additionally,
information
on
considerations
for
implementing
Linux
solutions
on
System
i
will
be
covered.
After
lunch,
the
workshop
attendee
will
have
the
opportunity
to
explore
implementation
and
configuration
of
network
services
in
Linux
as
well
as
the
ability
to
use
iSeries
Access
for
Linux
for
5250
emulation
and
connectivity
from
Linux
applications
to
DB2/
400
hosted
data.
