Until recently Net.Data has been the web scripting language of choice for many System i5 customers. In addition to support Net.Data, the System i5 platform is providing more choices for web scripting, specifically PHP. How are Net.Data and PHP similar? What are their major differences? These topics will be covered in this session. We will look at syntax differences, RPG and ILE interaction, and database interaction. The focus will be the comparison of the two web scripting languages and migration considerations.
