With
virtualization
and
server
consolidation
being
so
important
in
today's
market
place,
there
tends
to
be
a
lot
of
integrated
servers
residing
on
a
single
hosted
system.
Understanding
all
the
pieces
to
an
integrated
server
is
important
when
recovering
the
entire
system
from
a
disaster
or
when
recreating
a
server
that
was
affected
by
a
virus.
This
session
will
discuss
the
important
steps
required
to
backup
and
recover
the
integrated
servers
including
Windows
on
IXS,
Linux
on
IXS
or
LPAR,
and
AIX
in
LPAR.
Plus
some
tips
on
how
to
duplicate
a
server
which
is
useful
in
testing
development
level
code
or
service
packs
without
affecting
production
level
servers.
By
the
end
of
the
session
attendees,
will
understand:
1.
All
the
components
of
an
integrated
server
that
must
be
saved.
2.
How
to
restore
the
components
to
rebuild
a
server.
3.
Duplicate
existing
servers
to
be
used
as
test
machines.
