Domino Administration Seminar:
Come learn how to manage and be proactive with Lotus Domino administration. This hands-on workshop will help you gain the skills necessary to manage a Domino iSeries environment. This workshop will help you solve common Domino administration mistakes and cover the following topic areas: policy implementation, administration process, out of office agent, maintenance, performance tuning, and Domino 7 enhancements. By the end of this workshop you will have a clear understanding of you to successfully manage a Domino for iSeries environment.

In this this seminar, attendees will:
1. Learn about the out of office functionality, administration process, Domino 7 Domino Domain Monitoring (DDM) and policies.
2. Learn how to secure your Domino server as well as manage spam.
3. Learn Domino Tuning Tips including how to better manage your operating system with proper memory pool allocation, disk balancing,  transaction logging, IFS settings, run-time prioritization, and TCP/ IP and network configurations.  
4. Learn mail file management tips including how to reduce mail file sizes with built-in archiving support.
5. Perform labs that will give you a hands on look at Domino CL commands, policies, the administration process, nsds, DDM, BRMS and a chance to debug a server that will not start.

As a bonus, Domino development labs will be available.  You may choose to optionally perform the development labs or take them home with you.  These labs will show you the basics for writing a LotusScript application including how to find a bug using the LotusScript debugger.
