iSeries Access for Web provides many capabilities to end users for working with i5/ OS functions. This session will describe many facets related to security, such as controlling user access to the various iSeries Access for Web features, user ID and password management, and SSL and firewall considerations. There are becoming many more options in the web serving
environment for user ID and password management. This session will describe the options you have when using iSeries Access for Web in this environment.

In this session, attendees will learn about:
1. The Policy function for controlling user access to various iSeries Access for Web functions.
2. Bypass sign-on versus using macros to bypass a second sign-on screen.
3. The difference between using HTTP basic authentication versus the WebSphere Application Server security model.
4. The options available when using iSeries Access for Web servlet code versus the portlet code.
5. How to navigate between different web applications without providing your user ID and password multiple times.
