This session is an overview and a demonstration of new
capabilities being added to help plan and deploy partitions on eServer POWER5 systems. The aim of these capabilities is to allow a more simplified means to plan and deploy partitions on eServer systems but also to begin the work of revising the process of defining and ordering POWER5 systems so
that will arrive with configured hardware placed, partitions defined, and partition OSes installed.
