Two of the most practical components of the Virtualization Engine is the Virtualization Engine console and IBM Director Multiplatform. With these components you can work with the health of all the resources in your environment, run tasks across multiple operating systems, and set up action plans to automate and notify. This lab introduces you to the Virtualization Engine console and IBM Director Multiplatform.

In this lab, you will:
1. Use the Health Center to understand health across your systems.
2. Run trouble-shooting tasks across operating systems.
3. Perform systems management tasks to multiple OS's.
4. Define event action plans to help automate and notify when problems occur.
