In IBM System i shops, the need for a DBA has traditionally been avoided, or very limited. This is due in part to the integration of DB2, and it's ease of operation. The V5R4 release of DB2 UDB for iSeries includes a number of new and exciting tools that a DBA can use to easily handle typical, real-life situations.

In this presentation we will explore how someone wearing the "DBA Hat" in an organization can sail right through database tasks using the existing and new graphical tools provided by iSeries Navigator.
