IBM WebSphere Host Access Transformation Services (HATS) provides access to your 5250 and 3270 applications through most popular Web browsers. Host screens are transformed into graphical user interfaces in real time using a rules-based engine, with no change to the host application required.

This session includes an overview of the HATS product, as well as details on new features recently added to the product.

By the end of this session, attendees will understand how to:
1. Use WebSphere Studio with HATS to create a Web application that can transform a 5250 application into Web interface.
2. Customize the appearance of screens to give them a completely new look.
3. Script transactions as HATS macros and generate Web services from them.
