Infoprint Server is the platform of intelligent electronic output distribution on the System i5. It provides support for PDF, routing of documents and reports via e-mail, Web, and print, transforms for PCL, Postscript, PDF, and web image formats, support for document indexing and segmentation, and more.

Infoprint Server has recently been enhanced to support Intelligent Routing. This enables you to profile recipients of documents and report, and customized what delivery format they will be delivered in (e-mail, print, Web, fax). In addition, a new non-programming interface (PDF mapping objects) makes it easier than ever to deploy electronic output applications.

This session will introduce you to Infoprint Server and then use a series of application case studies, along with specific application development steps, to demonstrate how Infoprint Server could be put to work in your company.
