Tour the IBM Rochester Development LabSee the home of the iSeries with your very own eyes! Conference attendees and their registered guests can sign up for a behind-the-scenes tour of the IBM Rochester Development Lab, where the iSeries i/5 is produced. COMMON t our-takers will take a bus one and a half hours south to Rochester, Minnesota, where they will see how the eServer iSeries division of IBM works, touring sections of the outstanding facility such as the systems management department, the executive briefing center, the iSeries Teraplex Integration Center, the iSeries Benchmark Center, and the iSeries Customer Solutions Center. Two half-day tours are available on Wednesday, March 29 during the conference. A morning and afternoon tour are available. A box breakfast will be provided on the morning tour, and a box lunch will be provided on the afternoon tour. You can sign up for a tour when you register for the Spring 2006 Conference. Cost is $75 per person; space for each tour is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please bring a photo ID and your COMMON conference badge to board the bus to the IBM Rochester Development Lab. The bus for the morning tour will board at 7:30 a.m.; the afternoon tour will board at 12:30 p.m. |
