Introduction to Service Oriented Architecture and Building IBM SOA based solutions for IBM p-Series

This session will provide an introduction to the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) approach for building integrated solutions for IBM p-Series. It will examine the relationship between the On Demand Operating Environment and SOA, use of Web Services technologies in SOA based solutions, and an explanation of the concepts and architecture of SOA and the Enterprise Service Bus. Specific IBM technologies and products for building SOA based solutions for IBM p-Series including Business Process Choreography, WebSphere Business Integration - Server Foundation, and the emerging standard for SOA based process definition, Business Process Execution Language (BPEL). We will also provide an overview of development of SOA based implementations for these technologies using WebSphere Studio Application Developer - Integration Edition & WBI Adapters.
