"Ask the Experts" on Sunday night, then "Meet the Speakers" on Wednesday night
Now COMMON conference attendees have TWO opportunities to get one-on-one time with the industry experts, IBM developers and top technologists who present the sessions at the conference.
Start your week with Sunday evening's "Ask the Experts" roundtable. At this event, held during the COMMON User Discussion Social (CUDS), attendees can browse from table to table. Each table is hosted by an expert, and table topics include UDB DB2, Lotus, WebSphere, and much, much more. Stop at as many tables as you like -- you can park yourself at a single table or visit as many as you can fit into two hours.
On Wednesday, after you've attended three full days of technical sessions and hands-on labs, and had some time to compile any unanswered questions, you'll have a chance to approach any of the conference speakers at the evening's Volunteer Recognition Event for an informal chat at "Meet the Speakers."
These two events offer networking at its most valuable; you'll have access to the men and women with the answers you need, in a setting where conversation-starting is not only acceptable, but encouraged. So bring your toughest IT questions, your one-of-a-kind iSeries challenges and tales of your unsolvable inefficiencies, and get ready to learn in an easy, out-of-classroom environment.
