Hello everyone! Let me introduce myself. My name is Scott Klement. I’ve been working with the IBM i as well as earlier platforms in the midrange line for more than 30 years. You may know me from the many newsletter and magazine articles that I’ve written over the years, or from speaking at industry events, including those run by COMMON. In fact, I’m a long-time COMMON volunteer! I’m also the Director of Product Development and Support for Profound Logic Software.
My passion is software development on the IBM i platform, and that’s what I will focus on in this blog. My goal for this blog is to provide programming tips, techniques and insights that developers can take and use today.
With that in mind, if you have any thoughts, ideas or suggestions of what you’d like to see me cover, please let me know. The more feedback I get, the more likely I’ll be able to cover the topics that are useful to you – and that’s important to me.
