Knowing
that
the
issues
exist
is
an
advantage
when
performing
an
installation.
This
session
will
arm
you
with
information
necessary
for
a
successful
LPAR
implementation
We
will
cover
topics
from
some
basic
LPAR
requirements,
through
requirements
for
various
operating
systems,
and
issues
relative
to
various
hardware
models.
We
will
discuss
console
options,
RAID
cards,
disk
rules,
cabling
rules,
loop
rules
and
power
issues.
We'll
touch
on
racking
items
and
hints.
We
will
discuss
methods
and
options
for
migrating
from
one
system
to
an
LPARed
system.
By
the
end
of
this
session,
attendees
will:
